Melissa Matthews is the Founder of MCM and the Director of Construction. She is a Registered Architect, with over 20 years of experience in commercial construction in and around the DC metro area. Melissa approaches each project with the Owner’s best interest at heart. She reviews each publication of the documents to look for design issues, coordination problems and areas that can be made more efficient in order to be sensitive with the project budget.

Melissa uses her Architectural background to help the design and construction teams to solve problems throughout the design and construction phases. Her approach is that each project is accomplished by a team and that that team must function properly in order to produce the best project for the Owner.

Melissa is eager to get involved with every phase and aspect of the project in order to track the issues throughout the construction process and produce the best product.

Melissa lives in the Northern Virginia area with her husband, son and two dogs. She spends any extra time gardening and enjoying time outdoors.
